Gorilla Poop is not so bad.

So as I was making the second batch of Gorilla Poop (chocolate no bake cookies) I was thinking they could be almost healthy. Really why not? Oatmeal and peanut butter sounds healthy. I guess that could be way I’m training as hard as I am and not losing weight. Well I thought I would share the recipe for you all to enjoy. I’m not sure were I got the recipe so I can’t give them credit – sorry to however you are, but thanks anyway.
Gorilla Poop
2 cups sugar
4 Tablespoon cocoa
1 stick butter
1/2 cup milk
1 cup natural peanut butter
1 Tablespoon Vanilla
3 cup Oatmeal
Direction
In a heavy saucepan bring to boil the sugar,cocoa,butter and milk. Let boil for 1 minute then stir in peanut butter, vanilla and oatmeal. On a sheet of wax paper drop mixture by the teaspoonful, cool until harden.
*I think next time I will take out 1/2 cup oatmeal and add mulled flax-seed, That way you get omega 3,6,and 9. And maybe change the milk to soy or rice milk.

I love this recipe! I make mine with coconut instead of peanut butter though… Never heard of it called Gorilla Poo – I think I am going to have to use that.

I think it might have been Alaine or Jake that came up with the name. Not sure.
